I designed the Red Elephant™ and Multi Elephant™ because I wanted something unique that told our story in a meaningful way. Something that carried inward honor and outward recognition—a personal connection to our legacy, expressed through details understood by those who understand.
My inspiration starts with a simple question: What can I bring to the market that I haven’t seen before? Sometimes that means creating something entirely new. Other times, it means making an old thing new again, with a different spin and a perspective that is distinctly my own. These elephants grew from that vision.
The original signature
Red Elephant™
The Red Elephant is the original signature that began the La’Phant story. Its nine pearls honor the Nine Jewels, while its raised trunk and distinctive right foot forward represent strength, progress, and purposeful movement.

Twenty-two pearls
Multi Elephant™
The Multi Elephant tells that story through intricate multicolor embroidery and twenty-two individually placed pearls honoring the twenty-two Founders of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. With its raised trunk and richly detailed design, it celebrates individuality, strength in unity, and the legacy that connects us.
Together, these original Collections by Nina designs reflect my belief that what we wear can honor who we are. They carry meaning close to the heart while making a statement without saying a word.
